Prepare all consumer contracts and disclosures and review all website content for credit repair company’s compliance with federal laws, including the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA), Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and state counterparts; conduct state-by-state survey of legal requirements and prepare necessary state licensing and bonding applications.  Analyze credit reports and FICO scores, and advise clients in resolving credit and collection disputes; prepare forms for challenging erroneously reported information on credit reports. 

The Genesis Foundation, Inc., General Counsel

Serve as general counsel to a national non-profit corporation whose focus is to provide assistance to low-income and first-time homebuyers.  Provide advice on HUD, RESPA, and FCRA compliance issues.
